Millivent was founded in 2000 by its members Elize Campher and Basie Visser. Both of them are in the Micro lending business since 1998.

They started up with loans from Saambou bank and build up a book of more than R50 000 000.00. After the collapse of Saambou bank, Millivent was founded and signed a contract with Unibank and NBS. Everybody soon came to realize that the Micro finance sector would never be the same and that we were in need of an alternative.

We started to do short term loans with Best Dept Finance in March 2001 and never looked back.

We have build the business on an agreement that our clients are our most valuable assets and trough good relationships with our clients and a strong ethic background the company was built up to where we are today.

Today we have a client base of over 3000 all of which are more like family than clients.

The business is registered at the MFRC.

All loans are paid out electronically and instalments are deducted monthly via Nu-pay which is a preferred debit order system.

No cash is handled between our personnel and the clients which makes it much safer for both parties.

Requirements: 3 months bank statement
- Latest original payslip
- Copy of ID

The client must be permanent employed, the salary must go electronically into the bank account and the client can not be under administration or be sequestrated.
