The historic village of Chrissiesmeer is a true capsule where buildings, built 130 years ago from natural sandstone and quarried in the area, are still standing. This village is a haven for visitors to come and explore the lakelands, and ancient San cultures of the region. This small historic village lies in the centre of South Africa's Lake District.
